BAGI
Education, Facilitaion and Demonstrations
I love to share my passion for glass. Since 2013 I have been honored to be a part of the staff, instructing and facilitating events at the Bay Area Glass Institute
(BAGI). Through glass experiences, team-building events and private instruction I engage participants and observers with the joys of fusing and blowing glass. Visit BAGI's website to look for classes and fun events. I may see you there, I spend as much time as I can there, when at home in Santa Cruz,
BAGI is a 501(c)3 non-profit. It has a two fold mission of sharing a variety of glass making processes with the general public and providing studio space for glass artists. It is a great venue for a party, an out of office experience or date night. As an individual it can provide a taste of the glass making process through these experiences or full curriculum of glass education.
BAGI hosts great fundraisers in the Bay area. The most notable is the Great Glass Pumpkin Patch. If you haven't seen it, check it out! If you're in San Jose, check out Santana row during the Glass Pumpkin Patch or Ornament Sale.
This summer from July 2 - Labor Day I will be an Artist in Residence at the Gideon Putnam Hotel and Spa, offering glass blowing classes Thursday-Tuesdays!
